Coloring Book Blog Hop With Adornit and MPC!

It's time for another blog hop with Adornit and the design team from Mountain Plains Crafters!  Starting today at 9:00 am ET, head on over to adornit.com/blog.  The girls are showcasing the brand new coloring books from Adornit, eight to be exact!

So many beautiful images on heavy artist paper; perfect for watercolors, paint, colored pencils and more.  These would make terrific Christmas presents for anyone!  I have a friend battling cancer and she bought another brand coloring book to color and help her relax while at her numerous doctor appointments.

She was disappointed that the tiny zen-style images made her hand cramp.  I'm serious.  You won't have that problem with Adornit.  Beautiful designs, open space for added embellishments and so much fun wrapped up in these beautiful books.  I travel with mine a lot.

In addition, someone is going to win a coloring book as well.  Exciting!  It all begins at adornit.com/blog .  Go!

MPC Summer Challenge Nautical/Patriotic + a Prize!

Welcome to the Mountain Plains Crafters Summer Challenge!  You have not one, but two choices; go nautical or go patriotic with your creation.  It's that time of season and we want you to choose whichever theme strikes your fancy.   Create a craft project (card, layout, DIY, etc.) and scroll to the bottom of this post for the InLinkz to link up.  We do have a few house rules, so read those at the bottom as well.

Before you read further, please visit May Arts Ribbon on Facebook and tell them "thanks for sponsoring the challenge at MPC!"  You might wish to follow them as well.  There's always something fun going on over there and lots of crafty inspiration as well.

**Please leave comments on all the design team creations.  It's very much appreciated!  They work hard and all they get are dog biscuits!  Well, that and ribbon.

This challenge will require a url which means you need to link your project up using a blog, a photo hosting site, whatever contains a direct http link to your creation.  If using a Facebook link, your page will need to be on public settings.  We need to be able to see that it was created new.  Backlinking is not allowed.  What does that mean?  That means if you are linking a project you published 2 days ago, a week ago, a year ago...that's backlinking.  We strive to be fair to everyone.

The prize?  A sampling of brand new patriotic/nautical ribbon from some of May Arts Ribbons new releases.  Plus, we just might throw in a few little extra crafty items as well.

Challenge begins 6/25/15 at 1:00 am ET and ends 7/4/15 at 1:00 am ET (Limit of 2 entries).
Winner will be announced late on July 4th.  Happy Independence Day!

Birthday card trio

Just thought I'd share what I'm working on today, part of a custom order of all occasion cards.  This trio features the Unity Stamp set, Birthday Jubilee and was watercolored with distress markers.  The buttons were a freebie from Unity Stamps.  I love that they put freebies in every single order!  It's always something different too; FabScraps, Authentique - you never know but you can be assured it'll be something fun AND useful!

Be sure and check back on November 13th and 14th here on our Community Facebook page.  Our design team is having a blog hop and guess who we're featuring?  Yup.  Unity Stamps.  And Tombow Adhesive.  Plus there's an awesome prize up for grabs.  Oh, and a surprise guest designer too.  Lots happening and it's all good fun!
