M & M Christmas Poem Tags and Gift Box

My sister drafted me into doing a crafty project for her.  She found this printable Christmas poem and wanted them made into tags for gifting M & M candies.  I found this printable at ucreate.com.  Go here to find the pdf file to print: http://www.u-createcrafts.com/m-christmas-poem-free-printable/

Afer printing, I adhered to heavy white cardstock and trimmed.
Next, I used a hole punch in the corner and added some twine.  Of course, no project is complete
without a little glitter!  I traced over the M & M title with my clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.
One more thing......scroll down......

Before I give these to my sister, I decided to create a cute little gift box.
I used my We R Memory Keepers score board/trimmer and just pulled
it all out of my head.  A score here and there, hole punches, some washi
tape on the inside seam.....before you know it, I had a pretty cute little
gift box.  I usually experiment, rather than go by a template or guide.
I'm kind of stubborn that way.  And yes, I know you've heard me say that before!

Homespun Holiday

dEb here with a quick card AND a way to be green all at the same time.... I absolutely love the holidays.. Christmas patterned papers, holiday rubber stamps, my new Tim Holtz poinsettia die . I love holiday lights, classic Christmas movies ( Elf and A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim )  & quirky Christmas movies ( The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Family Stone ). I am also a hoarder of Christmas cards that I receive from my friends.. There, I admitted it !! I have cards from friends near and far; and I cherish each and every one of them.. I keep them year to year but eventually do send most to the recycle bin.. Some, however, I have kept for years. This year as I was heading to recycle with last year's cards, in anticipation of receiving new ones this year, I had a thought... Why not make cards out of them ???  I know I am not the first person to do this but I think my efforts might be a bit unique.

I started with a kraft card, got out my 1" circle punch and went to town. I used a fun sentiment from Unity Stamp Company's "Stay Cozy" and finished with a doily half and half of a 2.5" circle. The dotted paper is from We R Memory Keeper's "Winter Frost" collection. Thanks to Brian, Bonnie, Lisa, Jacky, Donna and Meredith for helping me make memories - AND cards !!

Heat embossed wedding card

I've got several weddings coming up so I'm in need of more wedding cards.  I kept this simple and elegant and just love how it turned out.  This card features the Unity Stamp Co kits Insightful Meadows by Donna Downey and LIVE LAUGH LOVE by Samantha Walker.  Check them out!

Embossed Gratefulness

Here's a Cuttlebug embossed card with fussy cut glitter flowers.  I've added a few strands of May Arts Ribbon natural jute and stamped a sentiment from Unity Stamps {Leafing} Grateful set.  The tiny frame was cut from a piece of We R Memory Keepers Inked Rose paper.  Love!  Terri

Hello Rose

I had to put my new We R Memory Keepers "Inked Rose" paper pad to use.  These papers are gorgeous!  So, I decided to do some paper piecing.  I've pieced a section of the rose paper with the green watercolor paper.  I wanted to do something different for dimension, so I cut a few wedges with a circle punch from each corner on one side of each paper, then placed the wedges at opposite corners.  Cool, huh?

Another neat trick is punch a circle (I used a 3" punch here).  Now, punch each side of your circle to create leaf petals.  LOVE!  The flower was made from October Afternoon Cakewalk die cuts.  Love this pretty card.
